Sales Team

When a client is searching for the perfect speaker for their upcoming event, they discuss their needs with a member of the WSB Sales team. Divided into industry-specific groups or “verticals” to better align with our customers’ organizations, Sales teams maintain a sharp sense of industry trends, current events and speaker expertise, enabling them to make the best possible recommendations to customers. Once a speaker has been selected, members of the Sales team work with the Associates, Event Managers and Digital team to ensure flawless execution of the customer’s event.

Associate Team

Associates are a vital extension of the Sales team by handling speaking invitations and contracts while communicating event information to internal departments and speakers. They play a key role in frontline sales initiatives and support WSB teams in all sales, marketing, customer service and administrative activities.

Event Management Team

After gathering event information, Event Managers coordinate all logistics related to speaking engagements and communicate comprehensive event information to all parties. They build relationships and act as liaisons to clients, host organizations, speakers, vendors and internal departments. As Event Managers develop their careers at WSB, they build a high-level portfolio of assigned speakers and receive opportunities for domestic and international travel assignments. Event Managers have such a major role in executing events that they make themselves available 24/7 to the clients and speakers assigned to their care.

Speaker Relations Team

The Speaker Relations team recruits new speakers for WSB staying on the leading edge of relevant issues and events that impact our clients. The team is also responsible for strengthening and maintaining speaker relationships, training internal staff on speaker topics and information and managing speaker branding initiatives.

Marcom Team

The Marketing and Communication (Marcom) team develops, manages and executes strategic marketing and communication plans to achieve WSB’s sales and revenue goals. This team manages the company website and produces all corporate communications including brochures, direct mail pieces, sales support materials, marketing campaigns and live events. The Marcom team serves as an interdepartmental resource strengthening partnerships with customers, speakers, partners, vendors and all WSB teams.

Digital Team

The Digital team produces video of our speakers for client events and marketing purposes. Through custom videos, live streaming web events and promotional video, the team leverages online delivery methods to bring our speakers to audiences in new and affordable ways. To help prospective clients find the best speaker for their event, they shoot and edit the "Meet Our Speaker" series, as well as edit full-length speeches and web clips to give a preview of each speaker's style. Key functions include shooting and editing HD video, streaming live and pre-recorded video online, Photoshop and web design, customer relationship management and digital project management.

Reception Team

The Reception team greets each caller and visitor with professionalism and quality service. They accurately and efficiently update company information and manage the company newsletter. The Reception team must also develop, maintain and strengthen partnerships with clients, speakers, vendors and internal departments.

Information Technology Team

The IT team ensures all computer and telecommunications systems and programs operate with optimal efficiency and security, while utilizing the latest cutting edge technology to continually increase productivity throughout the company.

Accounting Team

The Accounting team performs high-level accounting work in compliance with state and federal regulations. A member of the team has also been assigned to lead and audit company compliance with regard to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Other Accounting team functions include: accounts receivable/payable processing, budgeting and forecasting, payroll and managing collections for events. They must develop, maintain and strengthen partnerships with clients, speakers and vendors.

Human Resources Team

In compliance with federal and local employment regulations, the HR team develops and oversees performance management, benefits and compensation plans, recruitment, job performance, training and development strategies. The HR team also oversees all office management functions and develops, maintains and strengthens partnerships with vendors, candidates and internal departments.

Office of the CEO

Officers hold responsibilities as communicators, decision makers, leaders, managers and executors. They handle the press and external relations, as well as the WSB's management and employees. They decide on strategy and policy, motivate employees, and drive change within WSB - presiding over the organization's day-to-day, month-to-month, and year-to-year operations.
